Power Skating Camp: Age 6-9

Parksville, B.C. Oceansie Place, Aug 7 - 10, 2018 5:00 - 6:30 pm (1 1/2 hr lesson)

The Power Skating Camp includes 4 days of Powerskating, 1 day of shooting, stick handling and passing . On the last day we review all skating techniques and puck skills together. We have a short controlled scrimmage to finish off the week. This program offers one session of ice per day for 1 1/2 hrs.

In the beginning of each session (15mins) the kids are all together and we work on crossovers, step overs and c-cuts. I then break them into 3 groups based on their ability so that they are learning amongst their peers. This helps build confidence when learning a new technique and at the end of the session we come back together and work on balance and agility.
